SCOREMARKERS WANTED
Waukesha USBC needs scoremarkers to work during the 50 & Over Tournament in December. The Tournament will be held the first three Saturdays and Sundays in December at Mather Lanes in Muskego. Scoremarkers will be paid $10 for each shift worked.

WHAT MEMBERSHIP IN THE USBC MEANS

Do you know someone who should be in the Waukesha USBC Bowling Hall of Fame? Bowlers are elected to the Waukesha USBC Hall of Fame in the following categories.
PERFORMANCE: Based on high scores, high averages, wins or places in local tournaments, state tournaments and national tournaments.
MERITORIOUS SERVICE: Based on distinguished service over a period of years to promote the sport of bowling. Offices held in the local association, committees served on at the local, state or national level. Extra service to promote the sport of bowling.
RING OF HONOR: People who have promoted the sport of bowling in a manner that does not fall under the meritorious category. Some examples are proprietors, league officers, sponsors, coordinators, supervisors, and coaches etc.
Active participation in a certified bowling league in the Waukesha USBC Association for a period of fifteen (15) or more years is a pre-requisite for consideration for Hall of Fame candidates.

2019 ANNUAL MEETING
The Board of Directors of Waukesha USBC recently set the date for the 2019 Annual Meeting. The Board picked Sunday, April 14, 2019 for the meeting date. The meeting will begin at 1:00 pm and will be held at Foxx View Lanes. Every member of Waukesha USBC is welcome to attend the meeting. Members who attend the Annual Meeting will be able to vote for directors to serve on the board of directors and other matters related to the association. Immediately following the meeting there will be a cookout.

2018 FALL WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT ENTRY FORM
The Women's Tournament for the 2018-2019 season will be held November 3 and 4 at Jay's Lanes. The format has been changed to make it a doubles and singles tournament only. 2018-2019 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Waukesha USBC will hold seven tournaments during the 2018-2019 bowling season. In addition to the Open, Women's and Youth tournaments, we will hold a Mixed Doubles Tournament, Scratch Team Tournament, Fifty & Over Tournament and a Baker Team Tournament.
There are several changes to the Women's Tournament this year. The team event has been eliminated and women will bowl only doubles and singles. We are also holding the tournament earlier in the season with dates set for November 3 and 4, 2018. The Women's Tournament will be held at Jay's Lanes in Mukwonago.

FOUR BOWLERS ROLL 300'S IN OPEN TOURNAMENT
Donald Wehr rolled his first 300 game on Sunday, January 28. Wehr's 300 game was the last game of his 726 series of 233-193-300.
Cory Rockteschel rolled a 300 game Sunday, January 28 in the first game of his 747 series 300-255-192. Josh Hayek rolled a 735 series 225-210-300 on Saturday, January 27. Joe Helmers rolled a 300 game on Sunday, February 4. His 300 came in the first game of a 756 series 300-275-181. Cory, Josh and Joe all have multiple 300 games.

2018 SCRATCH TEAM TOURNAMENT RESULTS

ASSOCIATED BANK SPONSORS WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT
Associated Bank is sponsoring the 2018 Waukesha USBC Women's Tournament. Associated Bank has given Waukesha USBC $250 to add to the prize fund. iCOMBAT DONATES A $100 GIFT CARD FOR THE YOUTH TOURNAMENT
iCombat Tactical Laser Tag has donated a $100 gift card for the Youth Scholarship Tournament. The gift card will be raffled off during the Tournament which starts January 20 and ends January 28. The Tournament is hosted by Alpine Lanes in Muskego. Youth bowlers who are members of the Waukesha USBC can submit entry forms to bowl in the tournament. Entry forms are available on this web site or by calling the Association Office at 262-544-0400.
HEART OF AMERICA GROUP DONATES RAFFLE PRIZES
The Heart of America Group, owners of the Holiday Inn Pewaukee-Milwaukee West and Machine Shed Restaurant, have donated a complimentary one night stay at the Holiday Inn and a $50 gift card for the Machine Shed Restaurant. These items will be raffled during the Waukehsa USBC Mixed Doubles Tournament which is being held February 10-11 at Alpine Lanes in Muskego.
